Madness Monday...

This weekend was amazing! Saturday my moms best friend who happens to be one of my best friend's aunt, threw a baby shower for Ash and let me help!! It was so perfect, a lot of decorations, people, great gifts, fun games, and a few tears here and there.  I can not wait for her baby Kinsley to get here! March 1 hurry up!

Then Sunday my fiance and I took our engagement pictures! Chason looked so handsome.  He wore button downs with a fleece vest over with his famous belt and boots.  I think our photographer liked him more than she did me.  He says he can't stand taking pictures, boy did his actions show differently! We drove to Hot Springs and went to a few places, luckily the weather wasn't as cold as I thought it would be, the rain held off, but the wind got hte best of my hair =( hopefully we have atleast 3 good ones and my hair isn't in my face.  I can't wait to see the results!! I know who wants to read lovey dovey things, well I can't help but to brag, Chason did absolutely wonderful, didn't complain, complemented me, and made me smile! I couldn't ask for a better person to be spending the rest of my life with. 

Today I have done my homework for two of my online classes, went to class on campus, and worked! It's been an exhausting day.  I hope that I can make some yummy snack tomorrow. I will for sure let everyone see how delicious my snack is.  Oh by the way I registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and I fell in love with the scanner. How many is too many when it comes to registering?  Also I need Valentine Day present ideas! Please ask your favorite followers those to questions and get back with me =)

Even though I am a bride to be, I'm also an aunt to be! One of my best friends, Ashley, is have a precious baby girl just monthes before my wedding.  I am loving all the little girl cloths and decorations for her!  I had planned on making an ear-ring holder for sweet baby Kinsley Mae! I live in Arkadelphia and had gone to the only fabric store in town (Wal-Mart) come to find out they don't carry mesh wiring.  I had already picked out cute fabric and buttons, I just coudn't put them back on the shelves. duh =)  My projected ended up being a magnetic board with some style! 

First I bought a cheap frame, magnetic sheets 5x7, magnetic dots, fabric to cover the frame, and buttons for magnets!

 I laid the fabric out and marked an half inch wider and longer than the frame so I had material to glue to the back.  Make sure to do the corners first pulled tightly so the fabric lays smooth.  I used hot glue to complete this project!

After the fabric was all glued and dried I hot glued the big magnetic sheet to the front of the fabric then the fun part started! I used the little magnetic dots on the back of buttons to make cute magnets! I made a small bow our of ribbon to glue to the corner of the magnetic sheet. OH LA LA!

  Here is the finished project! I'm planning on putting her doctor appts on the board as a reminder, snapshots of her, or a stick a daily pick me up typed and cut out to the board!

Hey there blogger wold!! I'm so excited about learning how to blog and filling y'all in on my life.  My friend Ashley is a blogger, she loves it! She kept telling me that I needed to start blogging.  While I found myself not being able to sleep tonight I decided I would give it a try.  So far I can NOT figure out for the life of me how to get this super cute background I found loaded to my profile.  Wish me luck, I'm going to figure it out before I go to bed!
